Meyer Jabara Hotels to host extended-stay development seminar

The hospitality industry is experiencing a new trend: the long-term development of brand name hotels for extended stays. To help developers create a better customer experience, hotels are increasingly looking for new ways to attract guests. Meyer Jabara Hotels will host an extended stay development seminar in Nashville on May 29. During the two-day seminar, hotel developers will learn about the latest trends in this industry. One of the most intriguing aspects of the extended stay industry is its focus on lean work. Instead of a 24-hour front desk and weekly or monthly housekeeping services, extended-stay hotels offer an apartment-like environment where guests prepare their own meals and do laundry.

In an effort to foster an environment where hotel developers can learn about the latest trends in extended stay hotel development, Meyer Jabara will host its first extended stay development seminar in April 2019. The company operates 30 hotels across twelve stayed with various hotel brands, including Marriott, Hilton, Home2Suites, InterContinental, Wyndham, and others. In addition, the company also has several independent hotels. Additionally, it is developing new extended stay brands such as Choice Hotels and Extended Stay America.

This training program provides a branding and corporate culture orientation. The emphasis is on empowerment, accountability for superior customer service, and creating differentiated repeatable experiences for guests. In addition, two interactive training courses prepare candidates to become leaders and nurture their culture. The program is a great opportunity for hotel school graduates to build their professional foundation and gain insight into hotel operations. The firm will offer entry-level positions and competitive salaries.
