While we understand that this is part of their public relations efforts to prevent prisoner violence, I wonder how any positive improvements to the people in prison in San Diego County can be made as a result of family calls for change? Recently, in January, three families had some heated words about the guards in the prison they called anti-social and careless. The families requested that the warden be removed because they did not provide adequate training for the inmates. Now, the state of California has issued a statement saying it would review and consider the complaints filed by the families.
